Bio

At the core, Renee Bourbeau is dedicated to empowering others through education and leadership.

With a career as multifaceted as the challenges she tackles, Renee’s journey combines sharp corporate acumen with a passion for modernizing higher education.

Today, she serves as the Executive Director of MBA Programs at Kennesaw State University’s Michael J. Coles College of Business, where she’s reshaping the MBA for working professionals. Under her leadership, she’s not only driving strategic innovation but also pioneering groundbreaking initiatives like the nation’s first Rural Management MBA - a visionary effort to bring world-class business education to underserved communities.

Before academia, Renee honed her expertise in Fortune 500 corporate market development, operations, and analytics, culminating in senior roles such as VP and Florida State Manager at AmTrust Financial.

Her pivot to education began during Harvard’s Business Analytics Program and continued at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where she introduced Agile workflows and AI-powered tools as Director of Masters Programs and Operations for the Graduate Career Management Center.

A co-founder of InterviewJam.io and the nonprofit Analytics Foundation, Renee also has a talent for bridging human creativity with data-driven innovation.

But Renee’s leadership also extends far beyond titles. As a first-generation master’s graduate, she offers a unique perspective on what it takes for working adults to thrive in today’s competitive landscape. With an eye for ROI and the skills needed to navigate rapid change, she has mentored hundreds of graduate students and data scientists, many of whom now excel at global giants.

An Advisory Council member at Harvard Business Review, Renee is a proud graduate of Emory’s Executive MBA program and Harvard’s Business Analytics Program. When she’s not impacting futures, you’ll probably find her kayaking, hiking or riding on country roads. Her passion for adventure mirrors her professional ethos - always moving forward.

Renee is not just leading change; she is the change.
